The piece
A tailoring course only changes a life at the point where it produces income. Certificates do not pay school fees; orders do.
The tote is deliberately simple: heavy cotton canvas, double-stitched handles, one inside pocket. It is the piece a new tailor can make well and consistently, which is exactly why it is the group's first paid order.
Every batch is checked by the trainer before dispatch, and the maker is paid per piece.
What buying this actually does
- Pays a newly trained tailor per piece for real production work
- Funds fabric and thread for the next batch
- Builds the order book the group needs to keep working after the course ends
