1. Programme stages
Programmes on this site are labelled either as delivered work, which we can evidence from records, or as in development, meaning designed but not yet funded or delivered. A programme marked in development is a plan, not a claim of past delivery, and funding it supports the first delivery round rather than an existing operation.
2. Figures and statistics
We publish only figures traceable to our own records, and we deliberately leave gaps where a number is still being verified by our accountant. No figure on this site should be read as an audited assurance unless it appears in a published audited statement. Cost per unit, where shown, is the cost of a past delivery and can change with prices, logistics and location.
3. Foreign contributions
Ujjwala Foundation does not hold registration under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. We cannot accept foreign contributions. Donations must originate from Indian sources.
4. No tax, legal, medical or financial advice
References to income-tax registration u/s 332(8), donation approval u/s 354(4) or CSR eligibility are statements of the registrations we hold; they are not advice on your own eligibility, and you should confirm any claim with your tax adviser. Health, nutrition and menstrual-health material on this site is general awareness content and is not a substitute for a qualified medical opinion. Nothing here is an offer of a financial product or an investment.
5. Photographs and stories
Photographs are of our own work or are licensed documentary photography, used to represent the context truthfully. Beneficiary names, photographs and quotes are published only with consent, and some details are withheld or changed to protect a person's dignity and safety. Where an image is illustrative of a context rather than of a specific named individual, it is not presented as that individual.
6. Payment, email and SMS services
Payments are processed by an RBI-authorised payment aggregator, and email and SMS are delivered by third-party gateways. Availability of those services is outside our control, and a temporary failure to open a payment window or deliver a message is not a failure of your donation. Bank and UPI details for direct giving are published on this site; always verify them against this site before transferring, and treat any other account details circulated in our name as suspect.

8. Accuracy and updates
