The piece
Youth employment work usually ends at the interview. Our group asked for something harder and more useful: a small enterprise they run themselves, with costing, stock and delivery deadlines.
Candles were their choice — low equipment cost, honest materials, and a product that either burns clean or does not. Learning that difference is the point.
Wax is sourced locally, poured into reusable glass, and each set is labelled by the batch that made it.
