The problem
This is our largest recurring program. Kits of grains, pulses and fortified food are packed and driven into tribal belts where distance, not scarcity of goodwill, is the real barrier.
Tribal households in Telangana sit furthest from both markets and services. Packaging and transport into these belts costs more than the food itself in some rounds — which is exactly why the work gets skipped.

Tribal habitations are far from procurement points and often reached on poor roads. We budget for it instead of avoiding those villages.

We publish spend and rounds. A verified household count for these two years is being compiled from our distribution records.
